About the Role

The Home Support Worker is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the cleaning and shopping services to clients of Domiciliary Care, thereby promoting their independence at home and preventing premature and/or inappropriate admission to residential care facilities or long stay hospital beds. The Home Support Worker may also be required to undertake laundry duties.

• Practical and safety-focused, with an understanding of infection control, cleaning standards, safe work practices and manual handling.
