Position Summary
La Trobe University is seeking an innovative and experienced Manager, Stakeholder Communications to lead the development and execution of communication and engagement strategies for the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) division. This role will primarily support Net Zero and Facilities, Assets & Services initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful communication solutions.
Position Details
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement communication strategies to support I&O projects and operations.
- Manage the development and dissemination of timely, accurate customer communications.
- Provide strategic advice on communications and engagement, including issues management.
- Collaborate with external partners and funding contributors to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Analyze feedback and trends to enhance customer satisfaction and communication practices.
- Contribute to university-wide strategic initiatives and communication process improvements.

Essential Criteria
- Proven ability to develop and implement communication plans for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing stakeholders and influencing senior management effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with creativity and critical thinking.
- Knowledge and experience in communications best practices, including digital media.
