 About the Role

Working within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, this part-time position supports a range of research and community engagement activities, including:

  • Preparing ethics applications and project documentation
  • Supporting participant recruitment and community engagement
  • Translating materials and communicating in Hindi and Punjabi
  • Assisting with workshops, surveys, and interviews
  • Collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Contributing to reports, presentations, and publications

You’ll work alongside a committed team in a flexible, inclusive environment where cultural safety, health promotion, and dementia prevention intersect.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Health Sciences or a related field
  • Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi (written and spoken)
  • Strong research and organisational skills
  • Experience working with CALD communities
  • Familiarity with tools such as RedCap, EndNote, Covidence (desirable)
  • A current Victorian Working With Children Check and Driver’s License
