The Senior Analytics Specialist sits within the Marketing team and reports to the Manager, Customer Journey. The role provides advanced data analysis, reporting and insight generation to optimise marketing activity and improve the customer journey across digital touchpoints, translating complex audience, campaign and channel data into clear recommendations that support engagement, acquisition and conversion.
Working with the Customer Journey Manager and cross-functional marketing teams, the role designs dashboards and reporting frameworks, analyses audience behaviour, segmentation, brand tracking and funnel performance, and supports data-led planning, targeting, personalisation and testing. It also leads analytics platform governance and quality assurance, identifies tracking and measurement improvements, responds to strategic and ad hoc insight needs, and applies sophisticated technical judgement to develop improved methods, procedures and solutions across functional boundaries.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Advanced proficiency in digital analytics platforms, reporting tools, dashboard design and marketing performance reporting frameworks.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and the customer journey, including how data flows across web, paid media, email, SEO, CRM and social platforms.
- Strong ability to analyse complex multi-source data, interpret digital marketing and customer journey performance, and translate insights into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with segmentation, testing, attribution, conversion optimisation, data governance, privacy obligations, stakeholder management and delivery of multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
