The Bell Captain, reporting to the Concierge, plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. As the first point of contact for arriving guests, you are responsible for coordinating the efficient handling of luggage and managing vehicle arrivals and departures. Your core duties focus on delivering outstanding customer service while leading and motivating your team to consistently exceed guest expectations.

A few of your responsibilities
- Lead the Hotel Porters to ensure that the team's daily operations foster positive guest relations and create a welcoming environment
- Coordinate the arrival and departure of guests with the delivery and collection of their luggage
- Provide accurate information on services and facilities available within the property as well as informing our guests with what’s happening in and around Sydney
- Foster positive working relationships across all departments at The Star Grand
- Assist the Concierge in rostering, training and communications
What we are looking for
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Experience as a Bell Captain or similar position within a five-star property desirable
- NSW Drivers licence with a clean driving record required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You are a seasoned hospitality professional with hands-on porter experience and proficiency in Opera PMS. Your passion for delivering outstanding guest service is matched by a strong history of leading and nurturing high-performing teams. With a collaborative and approachable leadership style, you understand the importance of fostering a welcoming culture and are committed to embedding this mindset within your team.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our hotel operations at The Star Grand.
