As our Point of Sale Specialist reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, you will lead the learning and development strategy for the group with a strong emphasis on compliance with the Australian Casino Control Acts and associated regulations.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead the team and play a pivotal role in the development and execution of training programs that enhances Leader and Team Member capability whilst meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
A few of your responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the POS Register System Hardware/Software Installation and System Maintenance, ensuring the Hardware Installation complies with the Software and System requirements.
- Maintain peripherals inventory and configure equipment, test hardware and diagnostics
- Work closely with the Revenue Accounting team to process, reconcile and assist with financial transaction reporting and error correction
- Administration of POS and system changes, establishing new Cashier requirements for Cash and Credit Card/EFTPOS processing and follow up, ensuring efficient supervisory coverage of POS operations
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Point of Sale systems
- Demonstrated training and supervisory skills
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Software installation and system maintenance
You excel in ensuring accurate attention to detail and adherence to procedures to guarantee compliance. Your proficiency in these areas makes you an invaluable asset in optimising POS operations and maintaining consistency in business operations.
