Compass Group are currently recruiting for casual Catering Assistants & Kitchen Hands to work across several sites in Canberra. With a variety of shifts on offer working in our casual pool you have the flexibility to choose your own roster!
THE POSITION
- Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
- Actively maintain an awareness of allergens and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and service area / dish washing
- Monitor stock and rotate as required
- Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
THE PERSON
- Excellent communication, with superior customer service skills.
- Great energy and professional presentation.
- The willingness to work across various sectors and locations (i.e. Education, Health Care, Corporate, etc.)
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a National Police check and a Working with children’s check.
- Confident assisting in the kitchen with food preparation.
