We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support two of our large WA remote sites. Please note this is a site-based role on a 9:5 roster.

THE POSITION

• Pragmatic HR generalist with solid experience within a fast-paced service business
• Provide advice and support to line managers on HR/IR/ER matters including performance management, remuneration, and HR policies and procedures
• Coach line managers on how to engage, develop, reward and retain their employees
• Assist in the resolution of employee grievances
• Roll-out HR initiatives, strategies and tools, and monitor compliance with industrial instruments and HR metrics
• Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a seamless delivery to all stakeholders

THE PERSON

• Tertiary qualification in HR/IR/ER
• Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training desirable
• Minimum 5 years HR experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and high level of computer literacy
• Problem solving skills and also the ability to recognise opportunities for improvement
• Demonstrates initiative
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive approach when dealing with issues of a confidential, personal or difficult nature
• Ability to be pro-active, well organised and work independently
• Experience in organisational and company culture development
