We are seeking internal team members that are eager to take on the role of Trade Assistant within Compass Group Australia, Delta FM portfolio. The role will be conducting maintenance tasks & assisting other trades on our remote accommodation villages. As this role is Casual, only current Casual Team members with Full Working Rights will be considered. Potential for the role to become 14&7 Full Time for the right candidate.

$33.28 Gross Per Hour + Penalties + Superannuation

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to our QLD Scheduler
• Conducting general maintenance tasks on our Delta FM sites to keep our Accommodation Villages operational and safe
• Working amongst an established Trades team including Electricians, Plumbers, Refrigeration Technicians & Maintenance Managers
• Working away for 14 Days at a time, and being home for a minimum of 7 Days for R&R. Works can be across any of our 4 Santos and Origin sites across QLD + SA
• Working 11 Hour Days (10 Hours Paid + 1 Hour Unpaid Break)  for 14 Days in remote, outdoor, hot and harsh environments

THE PERSON

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Current Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence, White Card & Australian National Police Check within 12 months
• Full Working Rights within Australia
• Proven experience that you are well-versed in maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
• Trade Assistant &/or Experience in working with power and hand tools is a must
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Access to FIFO from Brisbane Airport
