FIFO/DIDO Chef Supervisor and Head Chef

Salary $93,490 - $120,000 plus superannuation. 

  • FIFO/DIDO from Perth 14/7 and 8/6

ESS provides multi service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

The Position

  • Manages, lead and support day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Ensures all tasks associated with food production are done according to food safety regulations
  • Develop team and culinary capability, and creating an environment of inclusivity
  • Develop menus and meal plans to meet dietary and cultural requirements on site while ensuring maximum utilisation of stocks
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a professional manner

The Person:

  • Have full work rights in Australia
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
  • Have minimum of four to five (4-5) years work experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Have proficient computer skills
  • Have function and menu development skills
  • Have strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
  • Be flexible to work on a FIFO/DIDO roster, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
