The Position:
Join our team and provide essential commercial support to our operational leaders You will play a key part in the month-end management reporting , ensuring contractual compliance and conducting financial analysis of our diverse portfolio. This role is crucial for delivering accurate reporting and driving business success. You'll also play a vital role in promoting our Safety Culture framework. The Role:
- Streamline our invoicing and payment processes, including administering invoicing, managing reconciliations and following up on payments
- Oversee accurate month-end closing processes, assist in P&L preparation, prepare monthly reports, ensure journal entry integrity
- Creating and developing effective billing processes to support sites
- Costing quotes and processes to ensure accurate pricing and efficient project management
- Liaise with and support Internal and External stakeholders
- Support the accuracy of corporate cost centres by reviewing cost allocations, preparing monthly reports for stakeholders, ensuring journal entry integrity, and conducting stock take reconciliations
- Collaborate on developing revenue, expenditure, and capital investment plans while working with the Commercial account to align budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies
- Client reporting and billing
- Adhere to health, safety and security procedures
- Contract Compliance
The Person:
- Accounting/Finance degree (Pursuing CA/CPA qualified)
- Previous experience in an Accounting role within a business environment
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with an Oracle accounting system is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment
- Dedicated, passionate and committed to progressing the performance of the portfolio
