We are currently recruiting Supervisors in Housekeeping in South Australia.
Our Housekeepers and Cleaners are responsible for cleaning all communal buildings and facilities on the mine site, this includes bathrooms, accommodation, basic grounds keeping and more. It is a physically demanding role that does require the use of a range of cleaning equipment across an 11-hour shift, therefore a good level of fitness is required.
As a supervisor you are responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of up to 15 Housekeepers or Cleaners. You will oversee the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the site, managing team members, allocating tasks and ensuring adherence to safety and cleaning protocols.
The Position
- Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks for team members.
- Oversee staff performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to cleaning staff.
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment is maintained.
- Ensuing guests at our village's come back to their rooms after spending many hours working out in the heat to clean crisp sheets, a tidy room, freshly laundered towels and a clean shower that can wash away the grit of a hard day’s work.
- Housekeeping is not just about changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries. It’s about creating an environment that allows our residents and guests to relax, rejuvenate and re-energise.
The Person
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Recent graduates within hospitality will also be considered.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Current Driver’s license
