FIFO Maintenance Plumber

14&7 Permanent Roster from $122,400 Gross + Allowances + Super

We are seeking WA Unrestricted Plumbers seeking to enter the Perth FIFO industry. Our Delta FM team at Telfer are looking to train up their next Maintenance Plumber for a Full Time ongoing 14&7 roster, working 154 hours each swing. This 1200 Room Accommodation Camp located in the Pilbara has been in operation since 2009. Site includes outdoor Tennis Courts, Gym, meals provided by our very own Compass Chefs.

$122,400 Gross + Allowances + Super 

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems
• Technical manager on the licence under which company plumbers can perform their work
• Provide instruction to other plumbers on compliance requirements
• Conduct plumbing inspections and advise Unit Managers of hazards and non-compliance to standards. As a Nominee, you are responsible to ensure that work is supervised and carried out in a compliant manner
• Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance, 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required, Leading Hand Allowance if applicable.

THE PERSON

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• WA Unrestricted Plumbing Licence
• Gasfitting G Class Licence including Install & Servicing
• Plumbing Contactors Licence & Nominee experience
• Current Australian Drivers Licence, White Card & Police Check within 12 months
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
• Able to FIFO from Perth Airport for a permanent ongoing roster
