The Role 
As a Specialist Talent and Engagement, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s future by managing talent review processes, succession planning, and engagement strategies. Your work will directly impact workforce development by ensuring the organisation identifies, nurtures, and retains top talent. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate and facilitate the talent review process, ensuring alignment with business strategy. 

  • Develop and manage tools, templates, and materials for succession planning and career development. 

  • Support senior leaders and HR Business Partners in identifying high-potential employees and creating individual development plans (IDPs). 

  • Ensure talent assessments are objective, data-driven, and support leadership readiness. 

  • Manage the end-to-end deployment of engagement surveys, ensuring high participation rates. 

  • Analyse survey data to generate meaningful insights into workplace satisfaction, culture, and employee experience. 

  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior leadership, translating data into actionable strategies. 

  • Partner with HR and leadership teams to develop and implement engagement initiatives based on survey results. 

  • Collect and analyse data on talent assessments, succession planning, and engagement trends. 

  • Ensure reporting is clear, concise, and provides valuable recommendations for leadership development. 

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, and senior leaders to integrate talent and engagement initiatives. 

  • Ensure talent strategies support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals. 

The Person 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.   

  • 3-5 years of experience in survey administration, data analysis, and employee engagement, preferably within a corporate environment.  

  • 3-5 years of experience in talent management, HR, or related fields, with a focus on talent reviews and succession planning.   

  • Strong knowledge of talent assessment tools and methodologies.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.  

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.  

  • Experience with change management and understanding of HR practices is preferred.
