About the Role:

Compass Group Australia are seeking two Senior Advisor – DE&I, for two part-time roles: one permanent (4 days/week) and one fixed-term (4 days/week) for maternity leave coverage.

As a Senior Advisor – DE&I, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding DE&I initiatives across our organisation. You will provide thought leadership, expert advice, and hands-on support to leaders and teams, ensuring that DE&I is at the heart of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support on DE&I initiatives across all business sectors.
  •  Lead and champion workplace inclusion strategies focused on Pride, First Nations, Gender, Disability, and Veterans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives and management on DE&I matters.
  • Support the attraction, retention, and career development of diverse talent.
  • Drive engagement and productivity through inclusive programs and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on targeted DE&I actions, including reducing labour turnover in diverse workforce segments.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and publications to document impactful DE&I outcomes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including key partnerships with Reconciliation Australia, ACON Pride, Diversity Council Australia, and National Indigenous Australians Agency.
  • Support business development teams in aligning DE&I strategies with client needs.

 

About You:

  • Experienced DE&I Professional – 3+ years in a DE&I-focused role, providing strategic advice to operations and shared services.
  • Strategic Thinker – Ability to develop and implement initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Strong Communicator & Relationship Builder – Confident in engaging with diverse stakeholders, from frontline employees to executives.
  • Data-Driven & Insightful – Strong analytical skills to interpret trends, identify opportunities, and measure success.
  • Resilient & Proactive – Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement.
