THE POSITION
- Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation across café service and corporate functions
- Develop and manage seasonal menus with flexibility to design your own dishes
- Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Mentor and train an established, high-performing kitchen team
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergy management protocols
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional kitchen environment
THE PERSON
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
- Proven experience in leadership positions within busy kitchen operations
- Strong skills in bulk production and à la carte service for events and functions
- Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety, and infection control procedures
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- National Police Check required
- Australian Citizenship essential (due to client requirements)
