THE POSITION: 

  • Project Support: Assist in the planning and delivery of capital works projects including but not limited to office refurbishments, building services upgrades and sustainability improvements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (Eg, Workplace, Technology, Security, Procurement, Environment etc) to define scope, align priorities ad ensure seamless delivery
  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation such as briefs, schedules, risk registers, budgets, project minutes and governance models
  • Budget & Cost Management: Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and procurement processes in alignment with internal financial controls
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors and service providers to support tendering, onboarding and delivery tracking
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with Accenture policies, WHS Standards, Building regulations and sustainability goals
  • Site Monitoring: Attend site meetings and inspections to assess progress, quality, safety and report/manage any issues
  • Program Management: Assist in tracking multiple concurrent projects and meeting key milestones across a national workplace program
  • Risk Management: Proactively support the identification, documentation and tracking of project risks & issues, working with relevant teams to implement effective mitigation strategies

 

THE PERSON:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Property, Architecture, or a related field
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in similar role, preferably in fit out, refurbishment or client-side project delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Proven ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure in fast paced, dynamic project environment, while balancing competing priorities and maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with tools like MS Project, Aconex and Procore
  • Experience in a large corporation or business
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders
