Safety Advisor

We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Advisor to join our Delta FM QLD team. You will work with our committed Delta FM team at our hospital site in South Brisbane.

THE POSITION

• Demonstrate your understanding of implementing risk-based assessments, root cause investigations.
• Understand and apply human factor principles to the management of site-based teams.
• Work with teams and individuals, lead meetings, pre-starts and safety-related training.
• Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health, environmental and QA policies and programmes.
• Undertake incident investigations and complete any relevant reporting.

THE PERSON

• Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety, or higher qualification.
• Cert IV Training & Assessing, or higher qualification.
• 2 or more years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in incident investigations.
• Advanced communication skills.
