Offshore Qualified WA Chef

ESS delivers comprehensive multi-service support to major companies and organisations operating in some of the most remote and challenging offshore environments. From oil rigs in the North Sea to floating facilities across the globe, we provide essential workplace services that keep offshore teams productive, safe, and supported.

The Position

  • Lead daily food service operations on an offshore facility, preparing fresh, nutritious, high-quality meals — requires hands-on expertise as a saucier, garde manger, and baker.
  • Opportunity to step up into a Chef Manager position when required, supporting leadership and team coordination.
  • Maintain offshore kitchen operations, including food safety, stock control, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using Compass Group systems for reporting, ordering, and kitchen management tasks.

 

The Person

  • Minimum 8 year’s proven experience in professional kitchens — offshore or high-volume preferred
  • A strong internal reputation of minimum 12 months and understanding of our culture and standards
  • Must have knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
  • Have strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Australian Residents only - must have full working rights and availability for offshore deployment.
