We’re on the hunt for fast, friendly, and reliable team members to deliver exceptional food & beverage service across Melbourne Park’s retail and concessions outlets in the following roles: 

  • Food & Beverage Attendant 

  • Food Attendant (Under 18s) 

  • Retail Cooks  

  • Cellar Attendants 

The Position: 

  • Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and deliver quick, accurate and friendly service in high-volume environments 

  • Operate POS terminals and handle EFTPOS transactions with confidence 

  • Serve food and beverages, including alcohol (RSA required), across public retail kiosks, beverage bars and food counters 

  • Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen protocols at all times 

  • Support stock replenishment, cleaning and outlet setup/pack-down as required 

  • Work collaboratively as part of a large, fast-moving team 

The Person: 

  • Have previous experience in quick service restaurants, events, stadiums, or food court-style hospitality 

  • Can stay calm and professional under pressure – especially during service rushes 

  • Bring high energy, strong communication skills, and a team-first mentality 

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules and can commit to at least 10 days of availability across the tournament dates 

  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (this must be a Victorian RSA, or you must have a bridging course certificate).  

  • Are punctual, reliable and excited to be part of a major international event

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a HireVue assessment online throughout August & September. Alternatively, there will be limited interview days onsite in late September.

All Australian Open roles are casual contracts that will commence Monday 6th October unless otherwise communicated. Shifts may be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award. All onboarding and training will be provided prior to commencement.
