- The role is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions.

We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Buffel Park or Eureka Villages in the Moranbah region.
The Position
- You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.
- You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside with management to achieve desired results.
- This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team
- Training of new employees
- Conduct effective prestart meetings, attend to performance issues, Demonstrate and reinforce safe behaviours, effectively investigate and report all hazards/incidents and injuries
- Prepare and submit performance reports and field leadership
The Person
- Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
- Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
- Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
- Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
