Our dedicated team are currently looking for Catering Assistants to join their team at Uniting - Edinglassie on a part time basis. This role will work shifts across a Monday-Friday with the below shifts currently available:

Monday-Wednesday - 7am-3pm | Wednesday-Friday 7am-3pm | Monday-Wednesday 3:30-7:30pm

Key Duties

• Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
• Serving Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea and Evening meals
• Following all Food and Safety procedures
• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment
• Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed

The Person

• Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector highly favoured, although not essential 
• Hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 and 2024 Flu vaccination (or willing to be)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
