Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have a casual opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated Medirest Living team at the University of Canberra Hospital.

THE POSITION

• Following all Food and Safety procedures
• Assist with basic food and meal preparation 
• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Assist with serving of meals to patients throughout the hospital 
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas

THE PERSON

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
• Team player and able to work autonomously
• Flexible approach and attitude with good communication skills 
• Must be able to meet the serology clearances (or willing to obtain required vaccinations) for this site 
• Possess a National Police Clearance and Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain)
