We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Delta FM QLD team. You will work with our committed Delta FM maintenance team at our hospital site in South Brisbane maintaining a variety of mechanical, electrical and various other systems within a complex environment.

Key duties

• Reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor
• Ensure continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
• Fault finding, reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.
• Actively manage and meet response times, rectification times and deadlines
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Provide mobile device workorders, updates and time estimates, including risk assessments.
• Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
• Lighting control systems maintenance including DALI
• Ensure external suppliers provide a prompt and efficient service

About you:

• Holds a QLD Electrical Trade Qualification
• A solid understanding of LV, generator control system, UPS systems, BMS and energy management.
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Be able to provide up-to-date police check and current driver’s license  
• Proven track record and experience in maintenance
• HV Qualifications and knowledge of QFM is advantageous but not essential
