The Position
- Assist in the planning and preparation of food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
- Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
- Drive cost-efficiency, minimize food waste, and work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, guiding and developing the team to success.
- Crafting and executing seasonal menus for both daily service and large-scale events.
- Upholding the highest standards of food safety, allergen management, and occupational health.
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check
- Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture
- Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Experience in menu development and costing
