At 28 Villages, we provide remote accommodation, catering and support services to mining companies operating in remote Western Australia. We deliver village management services, bringing our villages to life through friendly customer service and outstanding catering.
We are searching for a dynamic Village Manager—a true people leader with a passion for building high-performing teams, and the drive to lift service standards, efficiency, and performance across our remote village sites.
Your Role:
As the Village Manager, you are the heartbeat of site operations. You will have end-to-end responsibility for the performance, culture, and success of your village.
Your mission is simple: Create a safe, engaged, high-performing team and deliver an exceptional resident experience—every single day.
What You’ll Own & Deliver:
- Lead, inspire, and develop diverse teams across catering, housekeeping, cleaning, retail, maintenance, and support services
- Set the standard for site culture through authentic leadership, coaching, and accountability
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Champion safety and compliance, embedding proactive HSEQ practices into everyday operations
- Build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and residents
- Manage site profitability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting
- Improve systems, processes, and workflow efficiencies to deliver better commercial and service outcomes
- Foster a connected, positive village environment where people enjoy coming to work

- Proven experience leading remote village or hospitality operations

- A solutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of HSEQ, HACCP, and FIFO operational requirements
Role Requirements
- Manual driver’s licence
- Approved Manager’s Licence
- Proficiency in INX software
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Ability to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Safety and training qualifications highly regarded
