Kitchen/Dining Room Supervisor / Team Leader

• $91,624 Base Salary + Super
• Roster = 14x7 (10) (2x weeks on, 1x week off - 10x hour shifts) 
• Fly in Fly out from Brisbane Airport or Drive in Drive out from Central QLD region.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join and lead our successful remote catering team on one of our mining accommodation villages outside of Moranbah.  

The Position

• Supervise and oversee staff of a lower grade and allocate tasks during shift
• Model high standards of performance and behaviour
• Assist and work with employees during service and with the preparation of food where required
• Assist manager with rostering as required

The Person

• Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP. (Food Safety)
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results.
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
• Standard 11 Certificate (Desirable)
