$28.12 / hour + 25% Casual Loading + Weekend rates

• Initially to cover weekends with more shifts available later
• Work alongside a supportive and friendly team in a modern, air-conditioned kitchen in a fairly new facility

THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Parking available on site 

THE PERSON

• A qualified Chef with Cert 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• All-rounder experience and able to cook Savoury & sweet desserts
• Able to have a valid working with children's check
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
