We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. You will play an important role in delivering nutritious, high quality meals and maintaining safe and efficient kitchen operations in a structured Defence environment.

Role Location:
Randwick Barracks, Randwick NSW

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking high quality buffet style meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner
Supporting kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries and food storage
Maintaining food safety, HACCP and allergen compliance standards
Following workplace health and safety procedures and minimising food waste
Working collaboratively within a team to deliver consistent food quality in a fast paced environment

What we’re looking for:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Previous experience in commercial kitchens or bulk catering environments
Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
Attention to detail with a focus on quality, flavour and presentation
Reliable and team focused with the ability to work in structured environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
