Join a high-performing facilities management team supporting one of Queensland’s premier healthcare facilities.  We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor / Plumbing Supervisor / Facilities Manager (Hydraulic Services) to lead hydraulic and mechanical services delivery within a complex, critical environment.

About the Role

As the Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor, you will take ownership of hydraulic systems maintenance, building services, and asset management across site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage hydraulic maintenance and mechanical services in a healthcare environment
  • Supervise plumbers, maintenance technicians, and subcontractors
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance programs (PPM)
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, WHS, and statutory regulations
  • Monitor performance using CMMS systems (QFM, Pronto, SAP or similar)
  • Oversee critical infrastructure including:
    • Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants
    • Chlorination systems
    • Water treatment & potable water systems
    • Central sterilising services (CSSD)
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and technical reporting
  • Drive asset reliability, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualified (Plumbing / Mechanical Services / Building Services)
  • Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or hospital engineering
  • Proven leadership of maintenance teams and subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, water systems, and compliance
  • Experience with CMMS / asset management systems
  • Understanding of WHS, risk management, and safety leadership

Desirable

  • QBCC Plumbing Licence
  • Backflow & TMV endorsements
  • Plumbing contractor’s licence (Nominee)
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitals, or critical environments
  • Dual trade (electrical/gas)
