ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support front-of-house and hospitality team members
• Oversee daily dining room operations and service delivery
• Coordinate meal services and support hospitality functions and events
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
• Assist with staff training, coaching and development
• Support rostering and operational requirements as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in hospitality, food service or supervisory roles
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
