National Water Treatment Plant Manager
The National Water Treatment Plant (WTP) / Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Manager is the technical manager accountable for ensuring Water and Sewerage treatment services are compliant with Australian Drinking Water Standards and in accordance with Environmental Authority Permits at all our sites in Australia

This role will be a key contributor to the ongoing development of quality documents and part of growth team to secure future contracts.
The Position
- Develop and maintain quality documents to support compliance with accreditations, licences, and industry standards.
- Subject matter expert overseeing multiple Mining and Urban sites across Australia, supporting technicians nationwide and driving a strong safety culture through proactive leadership.
- Provide compliance advice and recommendations to the General Manager and Legal team on relevant legislation and standards.
- Support Business Development and Growth activities by providing technical expertise for tenders, solution design, pricing, and costing.
- Develop and maintain fixed-price schedules to support business growth initiatives and operational delivery.
- Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure effective onboarding, contractor management, and service delivery in line with contractual and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to innovative and commercially viable solutions that support business growth and client outcomes.
- Develop and maintain plant-specific risk assessments, Plant Work Instructions (PWIs), and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specialised equipment within the water and wastewater industry.
The Person
- Diploma of Water industry Operations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Relevant occupational work licence as required by legislations or regulations in the applicable state.
- Flexible approach and attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and reliable.
- Team player and able to work autonomously.
- Restricted Electrical licence.
- Driver’s license – C Class (minimum).
