• Oversee a structure 4-Week rotational menu
• Create exciting menus that appeal to multi-demographic students with fresh produce and student friendly meals.
• Oversee the daily kitchen operations, including the larder sections, function prep and boarding.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
• Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
• Contribute to the development of menu ideas using local fresh ingredients
• Assist in the mentoring of the kitchen team
• Monitor and order stock and minimise food wastage

• Must have proven experience as a sous chef leading and mentoring other cooks/chefs in the kitchen
• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Must have or be able to obtain Working with Children Check
• Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Experience in menu development and costing
• A passion for delivering fresh and flavorsome food. 
• Flexibility as there may be requirements for early starts and late finishes for functions.
