We are seeking reliable and motivated Kitchenhands to join our team at Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), Canberra. Opportunities are available across both Part-Time and Casual rosters, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work arrangements while gaining valuable experience in a professional kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Support chefs during meal service periods
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food service areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous kitchen, hospitality or food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
