Attendant - Cleaner | Townsville (RAAF Base) | FT

$27.61 per hour + Superannuation

About the Role

As an Attendant - Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic facilities across the site. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to creating a positive environment for Defence personnel and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, accommodation areas, amenities, kitchens, and common areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
• Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing consumable supplies.
• Waste collection and disposal.
• Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Following cleaning schedules and site procedures.
• Maintaining workplace health and safety standards.
• Reporting maintenance and safety concerns as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• The ability to successfully complete pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check.
