We’re looking for a Senior Director who’s ready to lead high-impact productions, elevate our race day and studio broadcasts, and ensure Sky Racing’s reputation for exceptional coverage continues to shine.

As our Senior Director, Broadcast Operations, you’ll be at the helm of our multi-camera, live Studio and Outside Broadcast productions—bringing every moment to life with precision, creativity, and technical excellence. You’ll also step into a key leadership role, supporting your team and ensuring a seamless experience for our audiences, whether it's a major racing event or a daily broadcast.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Direct and deliver complex, multi-camera Studio and OB productions to a high broadcast standard
• Lead and coordinate the control room team to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely delivery
• Be the go-to team leader in the absence of the Supervising Director or Studio Operations Manager
• Operate solo when needed across directing, switching, audio mixing, and other technical studio functions
• Maintain live control room operations, ensuring seamless visuals and sound
• Ensure all racing events are captured and broadcast per schedule and regulations
• Collaborate with producers and technical teams to maintain content quality and brand standards
• Report and resolve any discrepancies, technical issues, or scheduling challenges
• Ensure commercials, sponsorship content, and promos air at correct times

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in a live television studio or broadcast control room
• Proven ability to direct live multi-camera productions under pressure
• Hands-on knowledge of studio operations: directing, vision switching, audio mixing, and DA work
• Calm, clear communicator who thrives in high-stakes, fast-moving environments
• Strong decision-maker with a collaborative approach to leadership
• High-level technical and operational skills across studio broadcast equipment
• Passion for live TV, teamwork, and keeping audiences engaged
