Fixed -term contract| Granville| Build your technical skills and learn from experienced technicians
Do you enjoy pulling things apart to understand how they work? Maybe you've studied electronics, built computers, repaired devices, or you're the person friends call when something stops working.
We're looking for an Electronics Technician to join MAX, part of Tabcorp, in Granville. You'll learn to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of gaming and wagering equipment used in venues across Australia.
You don't need to know our equipment. Our senior technicians will train and support as you build your skills.
Why join?
- Learn from experienced technicians and develop specialist repair skills
- Training provided on equipment, systems and processes
- Monday to Friday roster
- Flexible start and finish times (e.g. 6am – 2pm, or 7am - 3pm etc.)
- Time for moments that matter - from birthdays to cultural leave, flexible public holidays, and 5 days bonus leave
- Snack bar & fresh fruit daily
- Corporate discounts and wellbeing programs
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair electronic gaming and wagering equipment
- Test, configure and prepare equipment to go out to venues
- Replace components and complete repairs on a range of devices and terminals
- Record repair activity and maintain accurate inventory records
- Work collaboratively with senior technicians to troubleshoot faults
- Support the preparation and movement of equipment throughout the workshop
What we're looking for
If you’re curious and love working out what makes things tick, you’re who we’re looking for. We care more about how you think than what’s on your CV, so you don’t need to tick every box. Experience in any one of these is a great start:
- An electrical, electronics or telecommunications apprenticeship
- Device repair, electronics servicing or hardware repair
- Building or fixing computers, consoles or other tech, whether for work or as a hobby
- Manufacturing, assembly or workshop experience
- A Cert III or IV in Electronics, or related technical study
You'll also bring:
- A genuine interest in how technology and equipment work
- Confidence using hand tools and working with hardware
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to finding faults
- Attention to detail and pride in getting things right
