Joining Sky Racing’s Production team, you will lead talented crews, support major race day operations, and help deliver the high-quality coverage that connects racing fans with the action every day. 

 
Your role 

Reporting to the Racing Production Manager, this role provides hands-on leadership across North Queensland racing operations. You will guide teams, coordinate resources, support stakeholders, and ensure every race day broadcast is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. 

• Lead race day operations across North Queensland broadcast locations 
• Drive safe, high-quality delivery of live racing coverage 
• Coordinate rosters, scheduling activities, and workforce planning 
• Mentor, train, and onboard new production team members 
• Optimise workflows, equipment readiness, and operational processes 
• Build strong relationships with racing clubs and stakeholders 

 
What you'll need to succeed 

You are a people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-moving production environment. With strong technical understanding, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach, you bring teams together to deliver outstanding outcomes while maintaining high operational standards. 

• Experienced in live broadcast, production, or technical operations environments 
• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced settings 
• Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholders and locations 
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure 
• Strong technical understanding of broadcast systems and workflows 
• Proven capability managing competing priorities and operational deadlines
