This is a full-time permanent role based in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Product Owner, Commercial Sales, you will hold ultimate responsibility in ensuring that all product development meets customer and business needs and is fully compliant to all regulatory requirements.

You will work in close consultation with both the Product Managers, domain leaders/teams you represent and within your business unit product team to identify and define problem and opportunities statements – all of which will be heavily skewed towards the SME (Small Business Enterprise) segment within the broader Retail business.

From there you will work directly with your business unit Product Team to undertake detailed discovery/value attribution and where the value profile warrants it – progress with overseeing detailed design, delivery, and deployment of these features.

As the key interface between the operating business and technology for your domain, a visible commitment to collaboration, excellent stakeholder management skills and clear and pro-active communication are all key capabilities for successful delivery of this role. This role requires:

• Tertiary qualifications in management, marketing, business or a related discipline
• Experience in a similar role, preferably as a Product Owner
• Competency working in CORE CRM
• Billing and industry knowledge
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across multiple business areas and levels of the business
• Ability to take a ’big picture’ view of the business and its operations, and partner with relevant stakeholders to drive shared organisational outcomes
