Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for an experienced and committed Logistics Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for managing drivers and contractors ensuring they work within the applicable legislative requirements while developing and maintaining strategies that improve relationships with internal and external customers. Supervising all activities of the tipper fleet including driver behaviour to ensure achievement of safety, operational, and CoR compliance in accordance with Boral’s values and strategic plan.

This is a full time permanent position based in Perth looking after the metro region of Perth.

Your day will involve:

  • Driver and fleet management including driver recruitment, incident investigations and inspection of job sites.
  • Ensure that equipment is operated within safe working conditions and to ensure that Boral Logistics meets environmental and applicable legislative requirements;
  • Review driver’s performance and behaviours are within approved guidelines
  • Conduct safety / toolbox meetings and regulatory audits
  • Working with our Customer Service and Allocations teams to ensure maximum output of company fleet

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Transport and Logistics operations, particularly in CoR compliance
  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment
  • A superior customer focus
  • Experience in management and leading team
