We are actively seeking a Project Manager to help lead a major project in Exmouth WA. In this role, you’ll take the lead on planning, organising, and completing jobs safely, on time and within budget. You’ll work closely with teams on-site to keep things running smoothly. If you’re organised, hands-on, and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a FIFO role, 3 weeks on and 1 week off. The role is contracted for 24 months.
Your day will involve:
- Leading the Concrete team to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service
- Promoting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across people and processes
- Driving cross-functional collaboration with the client, external suppliers and internal business units
- Processing production costs and managing raw materials
- Coaching and developing team members to deliver industry-leading service with zero harm
- Managing the concrete team in a remote location
- Preparing weekly forecasts and analysing financial reports
- Planning works to meet delivery deadlines at short notice
- Ensuring compliance with Boral’s OH&S, environmental, and quality standards
- Monitoring job progress, contractual requirements and client reporting as needed
What are we looking for?
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on safety and team development
- Practical knowledge of OH&S and environmental legislation
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Project and operations management experience
- Understanding of Concrete batch plants, processes, and quality standards
- Financial literacy and ability to analyse reports
- Customer-focused mindset with a knack for building strong relationships
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
