About the opportunity
- You will provide accurate high-level support, advice and administration of transactional activities to support the Onboarding process for the University to effectively integrate new employees.
- Working closely with the Talent Acquisition and the P&C Contracts teams, you will support in developing a strong culture of service-orientation within the team and provide advice on contract policies and processes, as well as conducting high volume administrative processing.
- It will be your responsibility to deliver a high standard of operational excellence to the University by facilitating the employee contract and onboarding process, including query resolution, transactional issue handling and documentation for employees of the university. You will conduct a personalised, efficient and streamlined customer service experience for the business.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- A background in HR or specifically onboarding roles, typically 2+ years, is often required to understand HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to facilitate onboarding sessions if required, convey information clearly and interact with new hires, managers and HR colleagues effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) is desirable.
- Focused on delivering a positive, supportive experience for new hires throughout their transition.
Special Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate (conducted by UWA).
