About the role
We are looking for reliable, caring and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to bring joy to our resident’s day who can
- 3+ years of experience in an aged care setting preferably working with Dementia care & Palliative care support
- Have unrestricted work rights and availability to cover various shifts.
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, you will:
• Provide high quality support and care according to the Care Plan and resident’s preference and strengths.
• Apply person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents
• Consider the resident’s individual needs, stage of life, development and strengths when engaging in support activities
• Actively participate in the implementation of Aged Care and Quality Standards to enhance resident choice and quality of living
• Conduct interpersonal exchanges in a manner that promotes empowerment and develops and maintains trust and goodwill

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking for flexible working hours – we are able to offer a minimum of 3 days per week for morning, afternoon and evening shifts over a 7-day roster.
Skills & experience
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
• Previous experience working in an aged care facility in a similar role
• Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
