About the role

The HR Business Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a broad range of HR services. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing projects to enhance the organisational effectiveness of the HRIS team and VMCH’s People Services. Additionally, the role focuses on updating, maintaining, and managing HRIS systems, interfaces, and databases.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Systems Governance: Plan, manage, and implement changes, adaptations, and enhancements to HRIS systems
  • HRIS System Support and Administration: Support the implementation and maintenance of new and existing HR management systems, ensuring accurate configuration and effective operation
  • People and Team: Work effectively with all members of People Services and promote the vision and goals of the organisation

 

About you

To be successful in this position, you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated technical understanding of HRIS systems, particularly EmpLive
  • A collaborative and consultative approach to program/project management with large, complex organisations
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project management of HR initiatives
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting demands
  • Experience in defining and driving the successful implementation of HR systems
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
