About the role

As the Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide support to the Employee Relations Manager and the wider People Services team by providing expert advice on employee relations matters within a complex industrial environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring payroll processes are aligned with relevant industrial instruments through thorough audits
  • Developing frameworks and systems that support sustainable industrial relations compliance
  • Providing expert advice on complex business partnering matters and workplace investigations
  • Interpreting industrial instruments and offering guidance as needed
  • Supporting negotiations and the implementation of new enterprise agreements

 

About you

You have a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, human resources or a related field and previous experience in an employee relations advisory role.

In addition, you possess the following:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to undertake analysis and data modelling
  • Strong understanding of relevant employment legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
