In December 2023, Corpus Christi Community Greenvale joined like-minded, values driven organisation VMCH, to ensure residents maintained a secure and nurturing environment, and offering stability to dedicated staff, well into the future.

Corpus Christi Community Greenvale offers a safe haven and support to marginalised older men who have experienced homelessness, battled addiction, or face complex health challenges. About the role

We are looking for experienced enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated maintenance assistant to support the general maintenance of the site,

Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:

• Effectively and efficiently coordinate the execution of all allocated maintenance works 
• Ensure that the periodic Maintenance of allocated task are completed on time.
• Proactively monitor and report on any failing infrastructure outside of day-to-day scope.
• Satisfactory management and delivery of site maintenance schedules including Manager sign-off.
• Compliance with company OH&S policies and contractor and supplier safe work procedures.
• Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives and standards that overall improve sites under control.

About you

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need

• A background in building and facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience in facilities services including HVAC, plumbing, electricality, security and lighting.
•  
  Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
•  
  Proven time management skills including the timely execution of works and consistency adhering to all time related deadlines and time frames.
•  
  Current unrestricted manual Australian Driver’s Licence.
•  
  Well-developed problem solving skills and the ability to cope with conflicting work priorities.
•  
  Previous experience working with the Aged Care or Retirement Living Sector.
