About the role

Reporting to the Program Manager, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team.  The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling experience and a background in software modernisation projects, particularly with SAP and HR systems.  This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project, Jira, and Excel. Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordination: Coordinate resources, equipment, meetings, and information to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Assist in creating project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations. Maintain accurate records of project activities and progress.
  • Communication: Communicate relevant information to all team members and stakeholders. Prepare and distribute project status reports.
  • Financial Management: Assist with budgeting and invoicing. Track project expenses and ensure financial compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Conduct regular reviews and audits of project processes and outputs.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

About you

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong scheduling experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, and Excel.
  • Preferable experience in software modernisation projects, particularly with SAP and HR systems.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in coordinating projects within a technology or software development environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
