About the role
As the Service Desk Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for ICT queries you will provide outstanding service to users listening to their issues and providing a solution
You will -
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support
- Capture, validate, and triage ICT issues for further processing
- Communicate solutions and updates to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Support deployment, configuration, and security of devices
- Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support or vendor partners
- Assist with ICT asset registers and device lifecycle management
- Contribute to cyber security initiatives and service desk reporting
- Uphold VMCH’s commitment to quality, safety, and continual improvement
This is a full-time role for a fixed term of 6 months, in a terrific city location, just 1 min walk from Parliament station, with easy access to plenty of shopping, cafes and bars nearby.
About you
You will be an experienced Support Desk Analyst, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who enjoys assisting users to resolve issues.
- Tertiary or industry qualifications in Information Technology, or significant technical knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting skills (OS, networking, hardware, software, peripherals)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially phone support
- Ability to make independent decisions and resolve technical problems
- Customer service focus, quick learner, and strong time management
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for providing respectful, top-level support
