About the role
As a Business Support Team Leader, you will lead a team to deliver efficient back-end operations, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
Your focus will include:
- Aligning team activities with organisational goals
- Supporting staff development
- Ensuring high standards in service delivery and claims processes
This role works closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the delivery of quality services. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will help drive team engagement and deliver positive outcomes for both staff and clients.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
- Develop and refine processes to align with strategic goals
- Lead recruitment, induction, and training for team members
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Oversee government funding claims and ensure compliance
- Support procurement of goods and equipment
- Promote a safe, positive, and respectful work environment
About you
Essential
- Proven experience in staff management and team development
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- High proficiency in client management systems and data reporting
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Resilience and ability to perform under pressure
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and related applications
Desirable
- Experience with Client Management Systems (Carelink highly regarded)
