About the role

As Scheduling Senior Team Leader at VMCH, you will lead a high-performing rostering team to deliver efficient, client-focused scheduling for in-home aged care clients. You will drive process improvements, support team wellbeing, and ensure every client receives quality, timely service.

Your focus will include:

• Designing and maintaining robust scheduling and rostering processes
• Managing daily operational challenges and developing contingency plans
• Leading, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team culture
• Championing service excellence and resolving client concerns
• Driving insourcing and optimising workforce utilisation
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards

About you 

You’re an experienced leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional care. You bring strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Your communication style is clear and empathetic, enabling you to build trust with both your team and clients. Think you’re the right person? Here’s what we’re looking for:

Essential

• Leadership experience in the Aged Care or Disability sector
• Proven ability to manage large, dispersed teams in high-volume, complex environments
• Experience developing processes, procedures, and leading change management
  

Desirable 

• Experience working in a logistics environment
• Understanding of recent Support at Home reforms
